Another Great Tip from Carp Fishing Bivvies
Great for catching carp
Yes carp do love PVA bags and you also need to love them before you can become an all singing all dancing expert, OK so that might be a little bit over the top. However like most things in life you do need to do your research and try out many different tactics before you find the best method. To start you need a good PVA bag, I have used many over the last few years, and am quite surprised that the one I found was the best was a Korda bag, that sound's like I don't like Korda products, well that's not the case. Its just that I only started to use them recently and found them to be a good quality. My ratings are given on a couple of things I am all fingers and thumbs when I am putting together a PVA bag, so for me they have to be strong and secondly I want to be able to lick the corners down and have enough time to cast before my saliva starts to melt the bag. Guess what? The Korda bags meets my requirements. Another pointer is the bait itself, you can fill up the bag with all types of dry bait, and use bait that will enable you to cast long distances. For me when I use a PVA bag I don't cast long distances. OK so maybe I am different , but I catch carp, and a lot of carp. My bait consists of salmon pellets a few boilies, a dose of hemp oil and then the final ingredient that I have always kept secret. Right, I will reveal the secret ingredient, but not today. I want to stock up on it before it all goes. Many of the anglers out there will know what it is – I will say that it is a South East Asian product and stinks........catch you soon, don't forget good solid bags and a good bag mix and don't forget the shrimp paste!
